Spray robot selection and layout
Spray robots are selected according to workpiece size and spraying range. The arm reach and degrees of freedom meet the coverage requirements of large parts. The robot is installed on a fixed base or a walking axis, and the walking axis expands the working range. The robot is arranged inside the booth and linked with the conveyor. Programming uses teach or offline programming, and the gun path, speed and spacing are set according to the product.
Vision positioning and trajectory planning
Large workpieces have positioning deviation after lifting. Spraying along a fixed trajectory may cause missed or over-spray. The system uses vision positioning to recognize the workpiece position and posture and adjusts the spraying trajectory automatically. For products with complex shapes, the vision system recognizes key features and the robot plans the path accordingly. Vision positioning improves spraying accuracy and consistency.
Assisted conveying and loading/unloading
The loading and unloading of large workpieces uses assist arms, overhead cranes or lifting tables to reduce labor intensity. The assisted conveying equipment docks with the booth and conveyor, and workpieces transfer smoothly. The conveying equipment is equipped with positioning and locking devices to ensure accurate spraying position. Safety guarding is set in the loading and unloading area.
Spraying quality and data management
Robot spraying parameters such as atomization pressure, spray width, spraying distance and speed are managed by recipe, and different products call different recipes. Film thickness inspection data is recorded, and parameters are adjusted on abnormality. The system counts output, paint usage and film thickness distribution to support quality management. Robot spraying uses paint more efficiently than manual spraying, reducing waste.
