Surface treatment of cabinets, valves and general metal parts usually requires pretreatment, e-coating or spray coating, and drying. If companies outsource these steps or complete them in scattered areas, they often face batch color differences, uneven film thickness and long delivery cycles. Taizhou Yufeng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. plans an integrated spray coating, e-coating and drying surface treatment line for customers, combining related processes into a continuous flow.
Process structure of the integrated line
The integrated surface treatment line is organized in the order of loading, pretreatment, e-coating, dripping, drying, spray painting or powder coating, curing, inspection and unloading. Pretreatment completes degreasing, derusting, phosphating or zirconium treatment to guarantee coating adhesion. The e-coating tank produces an even primer coat. The spray section is configured with manual booths or robotic spraying according to product requirements. Drying uses hot air circulation ovens with temperature and time set according to the process. The whole line is connected by a conveying system with a unified cycle.
Pretreatment and environmental control
The wastewater from pretreatment must be treated. The integrated line is equipped with wastewater treatment facilities that discharge according to environmental requirements. Bath solutions are analyzed and replenished regularly to keep the process stable. For lines using zirconium treatment, phosphate discharge is reduced to meet stricter environmental standards. Oven exhaust is treated according to environmental requirements.
Quality control of e-coating and spray coating
E-coating film thickness is controlled by bath parameters and voltage, and stability is maintained by regular testing of bath concentration, temperature and pH. The spray section controls spray distance, air volume and film thickness, with viscosity and film thickness meters for inspection. During color changes, the booth and pipes are cleaned to avoid color mixing. The inspection station checks appearance, film thickness and adhesion, and records the data.
Advantages of the integrated line
The integrated line lets products complete all surface treatment processes in one workshop, reducing intermediate transfer and waiting and shortening delivery time. Quality fluctuations are easier to locate and control, and batch consistency improves. For export orders, a standardized surface treatment process supports customer factory audits and sample certification.
Project planning
When planning an integrated surface treatment line, provide the product material, size, output, coating standard, number of colors and environmental requirements. We design the tank layout, conveying method, heating system and environmental facilities, and provide equipment list, civil engineering requirements and investment estimate.
