Final inspection item list
VCB final inspection usually includes mechanical characteristic testing, opening and closing speed curves, three-phase synchronization, power frequency withstand voltage testing, loop resistance measurement, auxiliary circuit insulation testing, operating voltage range verification and visual inspection. The test items and standards differ between customers and models, so the final inspection line is customized in test sequence and pass/fail criteria.
Structure of the comprehensive test bench
The comprehensive test bench integrates mechanical characteristic testing, loop resistance measurement and auxiliary circuit testing into one station. After the operator connects the test leads, the system automatically completes the set measurements, displays the results on the touch screen and judges pass or fail. The bench supports barcode scanning, so the product number is automatically linked to the test data. The bench is networked to the host computer and uploads data to the database in real time for future traceability and statistics.
Safety and efficiency of withstand voltage testing
Power frequency withstand voltage testing is a high-voltage test, so personnel and equipment safety are essential. The withstand voltage station uses enclosed guarding with door interlock and emergency stop devices, so personnel cannot enter during the test. The withstand voltage equipment automatically sets the ramp rate, test voltage and hold time according to product parameters, and the result and leakage current curve are recorded automatically. For batch production, quick-change test fixtures reduce wiring time and improve the test cycle.
Connection with the assembly flow line
The final inspection line sits at the end of the assembly flow line, connected by conveyors and buffer positions. Assembled products enter the final inspection area in order, first the mechanical characteristic test, then the withstand voltage and loop resistance test. After passing all tests, the product receives a qualified mark and moves to packing. If a product fails, the system automatically generates a rework order and locks the product to prevent non-conforming units from flowing into the next step.
Data traceability and reports
The final inspection data of every VCB is stored in the database and can be queried by product number, batch, date and test item. The quality department can analyze defect rate trends, fault distribution and supplier quality performance through reports, and continuously improve the assembly process.
